Last week's featured image was of a rose from my backyard. The rosebush this one was on is a huge bush, it has been trimmed and it is still rather large. It stands taller than me, and I'm 5' 7". The roses on this bush are pink, I'm not a big fan of the color pink, but these are just gorgeous! And the scent they give off is heavenly. For this image, I decided to color the rose a different color. I have some other images in my
Flower Series from this rosebush that I left pink and I wanted to do something a little different. I was actually asked where I found a blue rose by a commenter, so I guess I colored it pretty well. Here is the original image.

I've been bouncing all over the place between this site and the photo arena. Great stuff you've got going on. I love what you did this week with the tree. Hauntingly beautiful. The roses are spendiferous. I'm partial to pink and you really rocked the blue!
